well, good afternoon everyone. My name is Kiera Cline Peter. I'm the current acting secretary for health in the commonwealth of pennsylvania. It's great to be here with you today for those of you in person and of course those online as well As you've seen in our weekly COVID-19 updates.
During the recent oMA concert, the Wolf administration acted swiftly to support pennsylvanians and healthcare workforce by deploying both state and federal support systems to hospitals and long term care facilities while simultaneously expanding the testing network along with vaccine and booster outreach.
The Department of Health publishes media releases to inform the health and human services sectors about issues that may affect Victorians' health and wellbeing. These include food safety, health, travel, environmental and heat health issues.
The seminars are coordinated by the Physician General’s Office and organized by the Bureau of Epidemiology. Rachel Levine, MD, Acting Secretary of Health and Physician General, serves as the advisor; Nkuchia M’ikanatha, DrPH, MPH, develops the scientific content; and Sameh Boktor, MD, MPH, coordinates the presentation.
