We have been with Liberty Healthshare for 6 years. The first 4 years were great. Most of our providers would bill Liberty directly. I had to stay on top of making sure all the correct paperwork had been submitted but I figured it was worth the savings we were getting.

Liberty cares about it's employees and it's customers/members. Initial growing pains hurt the reputation, but upper management has been consistent on addressing the needs of both. Liberty Healthshare Healthtraq Program Wasn’t Helping Me Yes, my dietician was faithful, and yes she had some good ideas. Ultimately, I have gained weight in the program. Not saying that it is the program’s fault, but I did have to call in with my weight each month and the guilt I felt from each call weighed heavy on me.

Liberty HeathShare Pros and Cons Pros: Ministry plan costs are about half what they are for traditional insurance. The deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket costs are much lower than traditional health insurance. Provider reimbursements are faster and less bureaucratic than traditional insurance, a winning point with hospitals and doctors.

Established in 1995 in Canton, OH as the Gospel Light Mennonite Church Medical Aid Plan, Liberty HealthShare currently has a community of more than 220,000 members. According to the non-profit organization, members have shared over $1.2 billion in the last four years.
No. Liberty HealthShare does not have deductibles or co-pays because they are not insurance but rather a medical cost sharing ministry. There is a however an Annual Unshared Amount (AUA) which represents the amount you pledge to pay out of pocket before the health sharing kicks in.
