These healthy carbs are usually higher in vitamins and other nutrients than simple carbs, like white bread and white rice. Choose wheat, multigrain, or rye bread and whole wheat pasta. 2. Fill at least half of your plate with vegetables to get 5 servings a day. Veggies are packed with nutrients and are surprisingly easy to sneak into your diet.
