Sprinkle your sugar mixture over the pears using small pinches. Place 3 or 4 pecans inside of the hollowed out pear. Drizzle a small amount of honey over top of the pecans. You don’t want to drown them in it but just enough to allow them to simmer in the honey as they roast. Place the pears in the oven for 30 minutes.
