Behavioral health includes the emotions and behaviors that affect your overall well-being. Behavioral health is sometimes called mental health and often includes substance use.
Provides mental health services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in individuals, families, and groups. A repetitive and persistent pattern of behavior among teenagers in which they violate the rights of others, or violate norms or rules that are appropriate to their age.
Refers to the people whose job it is to help individuals facing behavioral health challenges. The most common providers are psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and various types of counselors and therapists. General term for a person who comes to a school and offers behavioral health support to children in the classroom.
