Our sliding fee scale allows us to provide health services to underserved members of the community, particularly those who have low income or uninsured. Bay Community Health is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

BayCare Behavioral Health specializes in helping children and adults with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders and other persistent mental illnesses or emotional issues.

What services do our community mental health services offer?

Our community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers and Peer Support Workers.

What is the Bay of Plenty DHB-community mental health services?

The Bay of Plenty DHB - Community Mental Health Services provides a high & complex needs work programme, alongside other education/support groups. This service is free for eligible patients who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
